Show Rules & Society Sales

1.    Adult Sheep – Trimming, carding, combing allowed but NO colouring of the fleece.

2.    Lambs – NO trimming, carding, combing, colouring of the fleece allowed. Tails may only be squared.

3.    The face and legs may show brown colouring but the main fleece should have no black or dark spots.

4.    All lambs shown need to be registered by 1st of July.

5.    Teeth to be correct

6.    Ewes sound in udder and all aged ewes to of reared lambs in current year.

7.    Tails of correct length (they MUST cover vital parts).

8.      Where possible all sheep to be let loose when shown.

9.      All rams sold at society sales to be NSP registered and scanned before the sale.

In relation to primestock shows / winter fairs, none of the above applies.
